Life Cycle Tester

Product Test Robot

Features

• The BT 4000 is a high performance, bench top and freestanding Cartesian test robot.
• Designed to test the durability of buttons and keys on such products as keyboards, mice, trackpads and pushbuttons.
• Also used to test typical daily operator use on the structure of a product, simulating years of use in a matter of hours.
• Utilizes a DVC60 actuator head as the core of the system.
• The DVC 60 is able to perform precision, high velocity moves with accurate positioning and force sensitivity.
• The DVC60 is supported by the combination of a voice coil, high-resolution encoder, servo controller and low friction slide.
• The system can test hundreds of thousands of cycles and record the force of the button at the first push and record the force throughout the entire test.
• DAC Motion software runs on a host PC that in turn drives the individual axis controllers.
• Master control is written using National Instruments Labview. The jogging, boundary setup, test points, test parameters and motion parameters are all performed from this easy to use interface.
