The
Cardserter is a high performance, automated, card insertion /
removal cycling machine. It’s high speed, accuracy, and flexibility make the
Cardserter an ideal solution for product life cycle testing of
badges, ID cards, credit cards, connectors, et. into an electronic
reader or socket. It can be programmed to insert to a
programmed distance at a fixed reader orientation.
Typical
tests performed on the Cardserter include:

Insertion: Simulating insertion of a card into a reader at
on and off axis orientations. Evaluating the durability of
the readers electronic and mechanical components.

Connector
Insertion / Removal: Simulating high cycle connector
use. Evaluating the effect of repeated load on pins and
connector shrouds.

Daughter
Card / Module Insertion / Removal: Simulating installation
conditions. Evaluating mating connector wear on pins and
plastics.
